Hello there, I am Justin! I have nearly 20 years of experience in imaging.
After finishing my photography degree, where I used medium format film cameras, I bought my first digital camera. This was followed by studying lighting and then purchasing a set of lights (1 of the 2 the best decisions I ever made). After this came my discovery of colour management (the other best decision), enabling highly accurate reproduction of colour and tone.
I have a particular interest in developing technique so that my creative vision can be fully resolved. I take my inspiration from many different sources, including Old Master paintings and selected films & TV shows. A very strong source has been the program Miami Vice, with it's distinctive use of pastel colours and refusal to feature red prominently in the frame, hence why the famous Ferraris driven in the show were black, then white.
In addition to my studio work I love to take my antique Hasselblad out to take landscapes, with a roll of Fuji Provia slide film loaded in the back. I particularly enjoy photographing woodland, which is plentiful around Beckenham, where I am based.
Today I am delighted to offer you my expertise in imaging to further your business. To discover what it is like working with me, click here.
